Last winter, my family and I had the privilege to tour Yellowstone National Park while on board a vintage half-track vehicle guided by Yellowstone Alpen Guides (You can find their facebook page here). When we woke up, it was 0 degrees as we walked out of the hotel at 6 a.m. The guided tour in total took roughly 7 hours and provided us with great insight to the natural wildlife, history of the caldera that sits atop Yellowstone and of course--a visit to Old Faithful. Our guide (and entire experience) was wonderful and I highly recommend seeking their services if you plan on attending Yellowstone in the winter months.
